Long Traffic on Sunday

Weekend is known to be a family day. We don't expect any traffic on certain day for people at that time are at home spending time with their respective family. Apparently, very long whole day traffic is what we encountered on our way to Slippery Rock and back home.

Justine sleeping but not through the whole trip. She seemed like having a cat nap. She woke up everytime she heard noice, or the car stopped or some bumby road.

On our way to SR the traffic didn't affect Jake and Justine's mood yet because it wasn't that bad on the side of our lane. On the other lane a long traffic we saw. We joked around how those people felt driving so slow, being stucked at the traffic at that time. At the back of our mind we hope we never catch that traffic.


As we head home the same long line of cars stuck ed in the same traffic because of the road work. So my husband switched to other route so we won't get stucked in that traffic but unfortunately, that route we took was having the same problems for some reason that we are not the only one thought of taking that route. We never yet reached 20 miles from my MIL place when Justine start fussing. On the other hand, the buckaroo fell asleep, he must had been tired from playing at his grandmas yard. Other baby fall asleep with the motion of the car but not my Justine hehehe. From fussing to screaming to loud whaling and crying was all we heard in our car. No matter how I tried to put the binky in her mouth she still crying because she was tired and sleepy. We felt bad for jake coz he woke up from Justine's loud cry. We couldn't stop her so we let her cry, hubby turn the radio hoping that she would calm down and she did calmed down a little. We were almost 3 miles away from our place when she finally fell asleep. That was a very long hour of the weekend we had, Im glad we survived lol.
