Magic Mirror! Tell me Who's Handsome

video

My Buckaroo when he was 6 months old. All babies like looking at their reflection in the mirror. As you can see my buckaroo was so fascinated with his reflection in the mirror. He was delighted seeing his own image at the mirror, I think all babies are. He was kissing and licking the mirror. Playing with your baby infront the mirror enhances bonding between baby and parent and helps develop eye-tracking abilities.
Play guide: Encourage baby's self-recognition by pointing to his reflection in the mirror, then to your own. "Peek-a-boo!I see you. Do you see Mommy? Who else do you see?

How about your baby mommies, What funny stuff your baby does infront of the mirror?

Using a Fantasy Football Website

Football season is now upon us, and that means that it is time for the fantasy football draft and season. I enter a fantasy league every year, and this year will be no exception. This year is going to be better because I am using the best online fantasy football help that I can get. I use WaiverWire for all of my fantasy football information. I probably spend about 15 to 20 minutes a day looking at the information that will affect my draft and team. It is easy to do, and you can sign up for their stimulus package for free. I like the fact that you can get the most up to date statistics for every player. I also like the injury reports and depth charts. They have the vital information that I must know. I get up pretty early, and that is when I usually go to WaiverWire and check up on some statistics. It is always hard to tell how things are going to go based on the preseason, but I believe that the Steelers will do well as a team, and so might Minnesota. I really do advise you to try out this website as I have. I am really confident that I will be having a great season because of the information at WaiverWire.

A Must Have Package for Fantasy Football

Here is a message for you guys out there. The National Football League is about to kick off it's regular season, and there is not much time left to get into that fantasy football league at work or with some friends. I absolutely love fantasy football. I try to draft players that I think will help me in my league, but I also like to draft my favorite players as well and root for them to do well. My favorite three players are Willie Parker of the Steelers, Terrell Owens of the Bills, and Bret Favre, who now plays for the Vikings. Yes, I like offense! And that is why I absolutely love these guys. They are instant offense in their own right, and they can put up numbers in a big hurry. For those of you who are into all of this, you should check out WaiverWire. WaiverWire is a website made just for us guys. They will tell you everything you need to know about the fantasy football season. Right now they have the Stimulus Package which is totally free! With this package you get free draft cheat sheets, free player analysis, free injury reports, free red zone stats, and much more. All of this is for free, so you simply have to go and sign up. Knick Knacks from Garage Sale

Garage Sale everyone!!! hehehe Do you buy used stuff from garage sale or yard sale? When we went to slippery Rock, There was one resident in the neighborhood having a garage sale. I think they are planning to move that is why they were selling most of their stuff. Anyhow, we checked some of the stuff in their display like the bikes, frames, figurines, lamps and many more. We don't have enough cash at that time so, we picked few toys and knick knacks for Jake and Justine. Look at what we have? All these only cost $6. Imagine that 6 bucks only! Some of them are still look new and working well.

This one right here are more hand-me-downs from their cousins. Mostly are for Jake since most of his cousins are boys. The a gifts for Justine from her one and only girl cousin.

Not Reality, its Actuality

Watching television is one of our pastimes as a family. In the evening we like to watch drama, sometimes we watch sports and news, but sometimes we really get into some reality television. One of the best reality shows that I like to watch is truTV in general. Watching truTV programs are so amazing that viewer like us cannot help but have a physical reaction when watching. You will really be amazed of how these people face the danger when they try these sports like the bungee jumping, the most daring motor cross and more. You should check out truTV video and see if you agree with me. You really do not know what will happen next as you do on some other reality shows. I got goose bumps, nervous and mixed emotion when I saw truTv's most daring where the dirt bike flying out of nowhere and across the track bumped other competitor. It was really a horrifying accident I have ever seen. You see the accidents as they happen, and you see and hear the reactions and consequences as well. You should watch truTV with caution because when the stories are real, the actual effect could be dangerous and deadly. I would imagine that a motor cross competitor of a few years would have some stories that even truTV has not encountered. But, if you have the stomach for it, truTV's Most Daring is one of the best reality shows on television today.

A Competitive Vacation

Do you like watching athletic competitions? If you do, then right there is one more reason to take that family vacation in Branson Missouri. Located in the heart of the Midwest, Branson has everything to offer a family that is looking to have some real fun. You can spend your days shopping in all of the local boutiques and shops, and you can spend the evening out at one of their fine restaurants. Personally, I want to see one of the local theme parks and lakes. I might also want to go to one of the local museums. Also, if you can be there on September 19, 2010, then you can watch all of the swimming, running, and bicycling of the Ironman 70.3 in Branson. It should be a great competition, and it should attract some real talent. It is one of the qualifying events for the 2010 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater, Florida. If you do go to Branson, then you must certainly stay at the Hilton Branson Convention Center. Nobody knows hospitality like they do, and with their Moon River Package, you can get free tickets to the Moon River Theater. I've never been to Missouri, but my husband assures me that it is more than worth the trip. So get your family over to Branson, and get ready to have some fun.

Common Signs on the Road

On our way to Slippery Rock I saw some signs on the road that made me curious what those signs means so, i took pictures of them while the car was running.

These are common signs we see on the road which helps driver and pedestrian keep away from any accidents and traffic.

I took this signs in front the building of our old apartment. There is a school closer to our place and a playground for kids thats why they put signs like that for the drivers to slow down.
A stop sign is a traffic sign, usually erected at road junctions, that instructs drivers to stop and then to proceed only if the way ahead is clear.
Some traffic signs, such as the left-turn prohibition sign hanging from this gantry, are lit for better visibility, particularly at night or in inclement weather.
In road transportaton, a Yield (Canada, Ireland, and the United States) or give way traffic sign indicates that a driver of a vehicle must slow down and prepare to stop if necessary (usually while merging into traffic on another road) but does not need to stop if there is no reason to. A driver who has actually stopped in this situation is said to have yielded the right-of-way to through traffic on the main road. In contrast, a stop sign always requires a full stop. The first yield sign was installed in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was invented by Tulsan Clinton Riggs.

Our J&J went to School

Yesterday, we decided to go to school with Babger to show off our new bundle of joy Justine to his colleagues. Some of hubby's colleagues wanted to meet Justine and see Jake again. The trip went well even if I didn't get much sleep not because of the baby but because of the anti-histamine pills that I have been taking this past couple of days. Jake as usual, running around like some kind of monkey who escape from its cage.

This is the Liberal Arts building where the Math department and Babger's office is located.
This is the athletic field for lacrosse, soccer or other sports for high school and college students. Lacrosse is a team sport of Native American origin that is played using a small solid rubber ball and a long-handled racquet called a crosse or lacrosse stick.

Justine with her summer dotted outfit.

The J&J at Babger's Office. Of course someone has to watched and chased this buckaroo.

Jake always on the go. The school was filled with freshmen kids who are so busy checking the school and moving to their respective dormitory in the campus.

Switching poses with the J&J inside the office.

When traveling abroad, the most important things that need to be taken care of are the place where you stay that gives total comfort. We want to have a comfortable hotel with conducive and luxurious room to stay in which also gives extra touch from beautiful scenery or authentic surroundings that only the best hotels offer. In Switzerland, such top notch hotels are part of a group of hotels called Typically Swiss Hotels . Typically Swiss hotels has it all, it is no empty promise, but rather the badge of honor for a hotel experience to be had only in Switzerland. From the services that gives more personal touch, an atmosphere that is authentic with beautiful interior design in a breathtaking location, to the food or cuisine and culture of the regional area that is surprisingly down to earth. You have many choices of which hotels you rather want to stay during your travel and vacation because it comes with different sizes and all types of locations such as urban areas and the rural mountains. The one that catches my attention is the Hotel Glockenhof. It is a four-star establishment with 91 new design rooms which made from highest materials to meet the standards of Swiss hotels and the place is ideally located right in the heart of Zurich. It is just a short walk away from the famous Bahnhofstrasse and the shores of idyllic Lake Zurich. Whether they are business travelers or holiday makers, all guests there are assured friendly, personal service by the dedicated service team. This is a good place to explore the mountains as well as the nature in general. You should check out these hotels when you plan for a vacation in Switzerland.

Tuesday Couch Potatoes # 1 - Favorite Husband and Wife Movie

I just joined "Tuesday Couch Potatoes" meme hosted by Kikamz author of Just About Anything. It's the 2nd edition of TCF, and this week theme is Favorite Husband and Wife Movie. We watched this movie many times, the part 1, 2 and 3 of " The God Father ". I like the part 1 better. Well all 3 of them are good though.

Synopsis: Based on the best-selling novel by Mario Puzo (who co-wrote the screenplay with director Francis Ford Coppola), THE GODFATHER tells an epic tale of Mafia life in America during the 1940s and 1950s.... Based on the best-selling novel by Mario Puzo (who co-wrote the screenplay with director Francis Ford Coppola), THE GODFATHER tells an epic tale of Mafia life in America during the 1940s and 1950s. Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) is the family patriarch balancing a love of his family with an ambitious criminal instinct. At the wedding of the Don's daughter Connie (Talia Shire), youngest son Michael (Al Pacino) is reunited with his family. A subsequent assassination attempt leaves the Don too ill to run the family business, forcing Michael and Sonny (James Caan), with the help of consigliere Tom Hagen (Robert Duvall), to lead the Corleones into a vendetta-filled war with other mob families. Violent revenge ensues as the family tries to change from its old criminal ways into legitimacy. Coppola's certified masterpiece, which won three Oscars (including Best Picture) and spawned an Oscar-winning sequel (THE GODFATHER PART II), set a new screen standard for merging blood-soaked violence with intimate family drama. In the process, Coppola single-handedly established the Mafia as an industry in film and television (GOODFELLAS, THE SOPRANOS). Featuring truly unforgettable performances, including the Best Actor-winning Brando, the riveting Pacino, and an unexpectedly dramatic Diane Keaton, THE GODFATHER is the pinnacle of Hollywood cinema in the 1970s.

Director: Francis Ford Coppola

The Godfather is an insightful sociological study of violence, power, honor and obligation, corruption, justice and crime in America. Part I of The Godfather Trilogy centers on the Corleone crime "family" in the boroughs of New York City in the mid 1940s, dominated at first by aging godfather/patriarch "Don" Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando in a tremendous, award-winning acting portrayal that revived his career). A turn-of-the-century Silician immigrant, he is the head of one of the five Italian-American "families" that operates a crime syndicate. The 'honorable' crime "family," working outside the system due to exclusion by social prejudice, serves as a metaphor for the way business (the pursuit of the American dream) is conducted in capitalistic, profit-making corporations and governmental circles.

This epic story traces the history of their close-knit Mafia family and organization over a ten year period (although the specific words "Mafia" and "Cosa Nostra" are not found in the film's script - they were replaced with "the family"). The presiding, dominant Corleone patriarch, who is threatened by the rise of modern criminal activities - the drug trade, is ultimately succeeded by his decent youngest son Michael (Al Pacino), a US Marine Corps officer in WWII who becomes even more ruthless to persist. Family loyalty and blood ties are juxtaposed with brutal and vengeful blood-letting and the inevitable downfall of the family. Romanticized scenes of the domestic home life of members of the family - a family wedding, shopping, a baptism, kitchen cooking, etc., are intertwined with scenes of horrific violence and murder contracts - a total of 23 deaths litter the film. Over 50 scenes involved food and drink.
