CC/SOOC- Cardinal Bird

I capture this colorful bird after the snowstorm when it was resting at our backyard. It was freezing outside in our backyard. It's cardinal bird. They are indigenous in winter weather I think. I always seen different kinds of bird in our back yard like sparrow, cardinal, and others but if I try to go out and take pictures of them they fly away. I was in our kitchen doing our dishes when I saw this bad boy and got a good shot at it because i zoom out my cam.

Let's zooom out, so here it is. Ain't that cute?

I think cardinals were made for snow - on these grey days in Western NY - the cardinal brings lot of color to our world.

I did a mosaic about cardinals not to long ago here if you are interested:

He's a sweetie. I'm working on a painting of a cardinal - if I ever get off my computer! Such wonderful birds. I have a photo that looks sort of like your top one - cardinal hiding in a bush.

He is a beauty, for sure! Great capture.

Several years ago we had a cardinal from hell nesting near our house. He took great offense at our windows. Every morning beginning shortly after daybreak he would attack the windows and throughout the day he would go around the house attacking different windows. His mate also took offense and while not as often as the male, she, too, attacked the windows.

If they came back last year, they were not as offended or it was a different set of birds. While the windows were attacked, it did not last as long nor was it as often as the year previously. lol

We learned to ignore it somewhat and took great delight when we spotted them going about other business.

Hi!
Beautiful bird. We have them here in Indiana. They don't sit still very long. Have a great day!

Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
