Toilet Problem

image:google

It is a common problems to every households to encounter clogged up toilet after many years of using it. This house is more than 40 years old and the owner of the house moved to other place. They put this house on the market and at the same time have it rented until their agent will find a buyer. We really do not know how many times they had this toilet bowl change. It is still looks fine to me and the whole bathroom is very tidy as well. The toilet flusher works okay at first until recently when we used it and about to flushed it but didn't go through all the way. We had toilet plunger but the man of the house had to run to the nearest store to get new one.

Anyway, I read an article online on how to unclog the toilet the easy way. Thought you might be interested so, here it is.

Television commercials convince us that only chemical-based products can cure our plumbing woes. Unclogging toilets is a chore no one likes, but being exposed to the fumes of chemicals during the process only makes it worse. The next time you are faced with this unappealing task, try a natural solution for unclogging your toilet.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups baking soda
  • 2 to 3 cups vinegar
  1. Step 1
Drain as much water as possible from the toilet bowl by turning off the water valve and flushing the toilet, which will force some water down the drain.
  2. Step 2
Pour 2 cups baking soda into the toilet bowl.
  3. Step 3
Pour 2 cups vinegar, which will begin to foam as it reacts with the baking soda. Continue to add 2 to 3 cups of vinegar until the foaming stops.
  4. Step 4
Wait for 10 minutes while the baking soda and vinegar work through clog.
  5. Step 5
Open the water valve and allow the tank to fill. Flush several times.
  6. Step 6
Buy an easy-to-use auger plumbing snake at a home improvement store if the vinegar and baking soda method aren't effective. Insert the snake into the drain, which will hook onto the substance clogging the drain; removing the snake will help break up the substance that is clogging the pipe.
