House Protection

We are living in a hundred years old house and everything is old. Last snowstorm it creates lots of damages in the ceiling due to the icicle in the rooftop. The water was come from the side of the window and run through the ceiling. I don't know anything about house but something was wrong why that water from the side of the window went to the ceiling. I think it got to do with the siding or perhaps the gutter. According to wikipedia siding is the outer covering or cladding of a house meant to shed water and protect from the effects of weather. It may be made of wood, metal, plastic, masonry , or composite materials attached directly to the building structure. Siding also adds aesthetic beauty of the structure and directly impacts its property value. If you're residing in Virginia area, siding Richmond can help you in installing siding to your house for protection. They offer pre-finished siding products that are unique in the market today.
