Thing of the Future…

Thanks to Sierra Ringel for the guest blog post.

I started online classes when online classes were new and still taboo. Lately they are more of the norm and perfect for the working adult. I have taken math, algebra, psychology, ethics, and many other course online. We were able to log in whenever we needed to study, take notes and even look at books.

We used satelite internetwhich made it nice and easy. We had discussion questions we had to answer a few times a week. We posted comments, and had other students comment on what we thought or what the lesson plan was for that week. It's convenient and easy to be able to log in whenever you need or want and still get your work done.

Most online classes like used use e-books which is just something you download to your computer and have access to 24/7. You no longer have to haul around expensive and heavy books they are all available online. This was easy when assignments or labs were due. If you were not using the book the professor had labs set up to and and tutorials on how to use the labs and assignments.

One of the greatest features while taking the online classes and using satellite internet are the online lectures. You log in once a week into a virtual classroom and you get lectured on the lesson for the week and you are able to ask questions. You can also go back during the week and replay it without taking a ton of notes.
