Straight Out Of the Camera Sunday - Morning Glory
Found this beauty in our backyard. It's our next door neighbors plant. Would you like to see more pretty flowers captured perfectly? Then vist the SOOC Sunday participant and leave a comment or two.
Morning glory is a common name for over 1,000 species of flowering plants in the family Convolvulaceae, whose current taxonomy and systematics is in flux. Morning glory species belong to many genera.source-wikipedia
The flower usually opens in the morning and closes in the afternoon. On a cloudy day, the flower may last until night. The flowers usually start to fade a couple of hours before the petals start showing visible curling. They prefer full sun throughout the day and mesic soils. Some morning glories, such as Ipomoea muricata, are night blooming flowers.

we had one, but we ended up chopping it constantly (and died) because it was not on the right spot at all. these vine flower gros very rapidly and was suffocating and clining on to our two palm trees nearby. i guess we should have moved it somewhere else away from the palm trees.. fifty states travel
