College Basketball

Typical for men to love sports such as football, basketball, baseball and any other sports. Well, lately my husband is always glued on TV because he was watching college basketball. He has favorite college basketball team and Duquesne Dukes is also his favorite team because he teaches in that university. last weekend, he didn't take us out to the mall and park because he watched the game from morning to evening and then after the game complain that he is tired. He finds college basketball fun and they have a bit with some of his colleagues.

In 1905, frequent injuries on the football field prompted President Theodore Roosevelt to suggest that colleges form a governing body, resulting in the creation of the Intercollegiate Athletic Association of the United States (IAAUS). In 1910, that body would change its name to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

I definitely need an eye wrinkle cream to lift this saggy skin under my eyes. It is already 2:00 o' clock in the morning and is still blogging at the wee hours of the night. I have to finish this task before I will hit the hay. No wonder I get more eye wrinkles for having less sleep plus the stressful and busy days I have been having lately. I want my smooth skin back but I think that would be impossible as I am not getting any younger and I don't get enough sleep and rest. I hope the cream will make wonders to my skin and look.

Hi folks! How's you day? It's Ruby Tuesday and my entry is my lil jelly bean browsing the magazine planning for her Destination Wedding. This magazine was one of the reason she keep coming back under the computer table because she enjoy playing with it. Ohh Justine, i think you have to wait for another 3 or 5 years before getting married hehe.

TCP - Behind Bars "Face Off"

The week Tuesday Couch Potatoes featuring movies about behind bars and my pick would be "Face Off"starring John Travolta and Nicholas Cage. It's an action drama movie directed by John Woo. The two both play an FBI agent and a terrorist, sworn enemies who assume the physical appearance of one another. The film exemplifies gun fu and heroic bloodshed action sequences, and has Travolta and Cage each playing two personalities. It was the first Hollywood film in which Woo was given complete creative control and was acclaimed by both audiences and critics as a result. Eventually grossing $245 million worldwide, Face/Off was a financial success. In this movie Nicholas Cage change his appearance to look like John Travolta and went into jail to find any information about the location of the bomb through the brother of John Travolta who is inside jail too. My MYM again is a bit late because my hand is always full following around this lil girl who likes to play cars instead of dolls. I put all this little cars in a bucket and my jelly bean is right behind me ready to pull them out.

New Pill and Insurance

I'm on my pill after I gave birth to my younger daughter. I am glad I'm done breastfeeding with her now I can switch to a new prescription pill that is cheaper than the one I am using right now. Only couple of days left and I will be using the new birth control pill. My husband works in a catholic establishment and he gets our insurance there as well. Since it is catholic they don't support artificial birth control as family planning. We paid full with my prescription pill and we plan of looking for another insurance provider. Now, we are surfing online for it and try getting insurance quotes from different insurance company that provide all kinds of insurance such as auto, life, home, health and more. It would be great if we get all this important thing all in one insurance company.

Drive Safely

...is the common expression or statement we always say to our friends and family when they drive long or short distance trip. When you plan of going for a road trip do you check your car condition before hitting the road? My husband does to make sure we are safe and avoid any car breakdown. He checked the engine, tires, water pump and make sure to have full tank of gas. That last 9 hours drive going to Chicago last Thanksgiving we used my mother-in-law's car. Custom Blinds for my Dream House

If only we have the money and resources to buy our own house I would certainly decorate it with quality furniture and appliances with artistic paintings on the walls. I would also put colorful curtains and custom blinds to match the whole design of our house and bring an elegant look on it. Well, only in my dreams! I know it's impossible to happen because right now we don't have savings yet to buy our own house. It will take two to three years before we can buy our own house. Early Egg Hunt

I found two little eggs in our backyard the other day. The noisy chain saw sound woke me up so early in that day. When I got down stairs and went to the kitchen I noticed the tree in out backyard was gone. The owner of that backyard where the tree was had it cut. I think when they cut the tree the bird's eggs fell down from the tree. Perfect for easter sunday. It was funny when I told babger about the eggs, his replied was "the mommy bird will come looking for you because of the eggs" Waaaaa and I said, how would the mama bird know that I got the eggs lol?grin

Wordless Wednesday - Busy Breaking

Our little buckaroo was too busy breaking this small radio that gave to him. I was gonna gave him a hair cut that's why I handed to him the radio to enjoy and listen music as distruction while I am trimming his hair. But the buckaroo wasnot cooperating even if he was busy pressing those buttons he still managed to stop me from cutting his hair. So, I let her play the radio and stop the cutting his hair. The radio now is dead, dido, broken and ended up in the trash. I think this guy is going to be an electrician when he grows up.

Camera Critters - Latest Chirpy

I have shared tons of birds photos in my camera critters post in the past and now I'm gonna share another family of chirp that I captured through the lens of my camera just this week.

We are just renting this house we are living right now. This house was built almost 100 years and according to the neighbors this house was one of the original house erected in this street that's why our house number is 1(one). When we first moved in here last summer we did not have problem with the electricity bills because even if it's hot outside the inside is cool. So, during the fall and winter that's when we started getting bigger electricity bills. We started using our portable space heater at the middle of fall season and during winter we used the house thermostat and couple of space heater at night. Our electricity bills went up to couple of hundreds and that was not good to our budget. My husband tried to lower the temperature of our thermostat when we go to bed, and when we go out. He also turns the space heater half way instead of full. By doing this kind of thing everyday and every night we noticed a little bit changes with our electricity bills. Spring has finally Sprung

Our next door neighbor told us yesterday that there is a playground few blocks away from our street. So, we drove yesterday to check the place out. Then this afternoon we went over there, had a walk and let Jake and Justine play. Jake had a blast playing with the slides, climbing around, running and making friends with the big kids. He didn't wanna come home yet but we had to force him because it's dinner time already. On our way there I saw some trees that start budding out and few tulips flowers like these one in the photo. I did not bring with me the camera so I just used my cellphone in taking these pictures.

1. Today I will be going to bed early. I've been waking up early lately since Jake sleep in his bed. He always got up so early like 6:00 and goes to our room to wake me up. I'm so darn tired and sleepy.

Playing at the Backyard

This past days the weather has been treating us good not too cold and not raining. Every afternoon Jake would want us to take him outside. When he is outside he always ask for the snow he didn't get it yet that snow is over. Anyway, I really want to go to the park yesterday but hubby is too tired to drive us there. So, we just hang out at the backyard and played some ball. And today, I took Jake for a walk around the neigborhood. I think tomorrow and on the weekend the weather is gonna be great. We are planning on going to the store to find some stuff we need. So, enjoy the rest of the week guys and have a great weekend.
