New Lappy

I am not really good in finding the good computer and don't have much knowledge about laptop or technology as well. And besides I didn't have computer at all to do the shopping myself online. Our McAfee anti virus was spreading virus to our computer that was hard to get rid of. We thought it's waste of money to have it fixed or buy their software to get rid of the virus. Anyhow, i owe big time to Tsang Dhemz and MamiLu for doing the shopping in my behalf. They really great with computers that's why I put my trust. Thank you so much mommies for saving my soul hehe ah este business pala haha.

They got me a Toshiba from Overstock for $480 something with free tax and $1 shipping. Very smart mommies in finding great deals. I'm impressed, thumbs up!

2nd floor walk up

I was really excited to find my new place after having to trek up five flights of stairs because I would only have to go up one flight of stairs now. But, I think that my girlfriend was even more excited about it.

Plus, it was in a nicer neighborhood in my old apartment so I decided to put a little more effort into it overall. I found a some 4g CLEAR wimax deals and signed up for one so I wouldn't have to worry about an unreliable internet service like at my old place.

I also splurged and actually bought a new couch for the apartment. My girlfriend helped me pick it out so it actually looked like it belonged there. She also helped me decorate and pick out some curtains that went with the couch.

But she also used a lot of stuff that I already had to decorate and changed other things to match. Like, she took the pillows from my old couch and made covers for them to match my new one.

No Effect

We are all aware that most pills has its own side effects one way or another. There are fat burners side effects and other supplements side effects which is good that's why some people keep using it as it gives desirable changes to their weight. Quick Trip to the Mall

Two weeks ago our computer crashed due to the virus that our anti virus gave and they couldn't take the virus out. It will cost a fortune if we will have it fixed so we decided to let go and buy a laptop. I'm glad i have great friends online whom i can trust and did the lappy shopping online. Thanks mamilu and tsang dhemz for the help. So, anyhow, in those two weeks of my offline and boring days we made a quick trip to the mall. I let the kids play in the playground. Justine had great time but Jake didn't. I got them stuff animals and pair of shoes then we headed home. Thats how boring our days, and weeks plus no computer agh! I thought im gonna die but thankfully i survive hehe.

TCP - Old Dogs

Oh I miss online blogging. Im glad to be back in the blogworld and online. Darn virus killed my puter. Thanks to Lulu for doing the updates in my TCP and others. I owe your big time mamilu. Thanks. So, anyhow this week's TCP theme: Favorite Robin Williams Movie and my pick would be their latest movie with John Travold title Old Dogs.

Old Dogs is a 2009 American comedy film directed by Wild Hogs's Walt Becker and starring Robin Williams and John Travolta with supporting roles played by Kelly Preston, Matt Dillon, Justin Long, Seth Green, Rita Wilson, Dax Shepard, and Bernie Mac. It was released in theaters on November 25, 2009 and was released on DVD March 9th, 2010.

Plot for Old Dogs
Charlie and Dan have been best friends and business partners for thirty years. When their Manhattan public relations firm is on the verge of a huge business deal with a Japanese company. A woman he married on a drunken impulse nearly nine years before (annulled the next day) shows up to tell him he's the father of her twins, now seven, and she'll be in jail for 14 days for a political protest. Dan volunteers to keep the tykes, although he's up tight and clueless. And they only have two weeks to sew up the contract. They helped each other in taking care the kids despite of their busy work and trying to keep up with the kids activities. They didn't able to land the account but the kids had brought so much joy and changes to their lives. Their friendship and family still the most important thing than any bug business deal.

Took the Youth Group Hiking

Everyone loves a little field trip and taking the youth group on a little hiking adventure was no different. About a month ago, we told them about the plan and started getting parent permission slips together. That morning, all of the kids were dropped off at my house in the morning. We had a light breakfast of bagels and juice and then packed up our backpacks. After setting the Phoenix Adt security system, we loaded up into the vans and got ready to drive over to the canyon.

It only took about a half hour to get there and the weather was amazing. There was a breeze blowing the entire time, so no one really felt overheated. We were lucky as sometimes the heat out here ruins all kinds of outdoor adventures. We made it up the wash the runs through the middle of the canyon and stopped for lunch. It was the perfect place to go because it wasn't a difficult hike for the beginners, but it was something that kept everyone interested.

As the sun started to set, we were loading everyone back into the vans to head back. I think the entire day went really well. We were all outside together, having a good time and just hanging out. Most of the kids mentioned planning another hike just like this one.

On Computers

Computer can be make our jobs easier but when virus strikes computer can stress you out. I had a great deal of experience when it comes to computer being infected with virus. Believe me, it is very unpleasant.

Vegas expert

I've been to Las Vegas so many times that I'm kind of an expert about everything. I've been to all the casinos, been to a lot of the shows and know where the best all you can eat buffets are. So I decided to take one of my friends who had never been there before because he needed to have a good time anyway. He's just started to go through a bad divorce and definitely needed to have a little fun.

I told him to just give me 48 hours in Vegas and we would have a whole lot of fun. But when we were there I was having a lot of trouble hearing what he was saying. Then he told me that maybe I should think about getting some hearing aids. I didn't think about it then but just kept on eating my peel and eat shrimp. Then later I thought about it again and looked up some hearing aid reviews on my smart phone. Then I made sure to schedule a hearing test for when I got back home after our trip.

But I let him concentrate on having fun instead of hearing about my hearing problems. I think those few days is just what he needed.

On Motherhood...

When I learned that I was pregnant, I have mixed feelings. I was excited yet scared at the same time. I think it is normal for a first time mom to experience the feeling. I did tried my best to have a healthy pregnancy. I made sure that I never miss my prenatal visits to my OB and of course I never missed taking nature made prenatal vitamins plus dha. I was very insistent that I have to follow my OBs instructions because I want my baby to grow healthy and free from any diseases.

Thankfully, I gave birth to a very healthy and bouncy baby. On both of my pregnancies, I was always careful and was very good in following my prenatal visits. Now having tow kids is not an easy job. It is stressful but I am happy. It is a lot of work but I am fulfilled. Motherhood is something I can't trade... I am loving it!

Best Exercise

My family and I loves biking. Whenever we go for a biking exercise, I can really say that it is exhausting yet fun activity. The feeling of sweat running to your whole body and thinking that it is a great way to burn my fats makes the activity worthwhile.

Even though biking is a strainful activity having to tow your kids in the bike with you, I considered it one of the best fat burning exercises. My kids also like to be towed around and they both enjoy the scenery when we go biking.

I wish we can do biking more often but it is just impossible because my husband has to work during weekdays. But at least every once in a while we can bond through biking.

The Rachel Zoe Project on Bravo is absolutely hysterical with out even trying. I always watch it on the Satellite TV for the best quality as they show covers fashion shows, thus seeing detail is very important. Rachel Zoe is such a character and I think she realizes this because she has the ability to poke fun at herself. I think that her style is fun but, rather predictable, She always wears a furry vest, white shirts, tight black leggings, very high stilettos heels and lots of gold chunky jewelry. Yet, she runs a very successful business styling for celebrities, editorials and for the runway. She has a very interesting dynamic with her husband who just seems to follow her wherever she goes. They do not spend much time alone but, they are very sweet and romantic towards each other. Her assistant is so funny and an adorable little gay man. He is always cleaning up after her because she does not always get things together or keep well organized. The show always features her running around Milan, Paris or New York at the fashion shows trying to find things for her clients to wear. Rachel loves luxury more then anything and she also enjoys helping out her friends and family. I think the Rachel Zoe project is entertaining but, an good insight into fashion.

We Got Lucky

Traveling with a toddler and a baby is never easy. We had two suit case one big and one medium size that we brought when we travel to New York City. Aside from the suit cases we also brought couple of car seat for Jake and Justine and one stroller. Our hands were full by just carrying suit cases alone. We got lucky that morning because the shuttle bus waited for us and there were no other passenger the ride with it. Actually, the driver of that shuttle bus was extremely nice as he went to our way purposely and waited patiently. It would be a very long long walk if he didn't stop to get us a ride. So, we definitely got lucky on that day going to the air port and they flight went smoothly with us.

Bamboo Shoot

Bamboo shoots or bamboo sprouts are the edible shoots of bamboo species Bambusa vulgaris and Phyllostachys edulis. I Love Tomatoes

Aside from the first batch of tomatoes that our neighbors and MIL gave to us, we received more tomatoes again from the same neighbors. He harvested more ripe tomatoes in his backyard and handed 3 big pieces to hubby. Then, my husband's colleague also gave us a bag of ripe tomatoes and some jalapeno which in the fridge right now. Hubby and I joke around if there is any thing we could do to consume the tomatoes before it will go bad. We love tomatoes but we can't eat all of it everyday. It's great to have nice neighbors around. I wish we also have lots of neighbors that have kids so Jake and Justine will have playmates. Most of our neighbors around here are retired so they don't have kids that is why they are fond of my dragons.
