It is inevitable that when you're driving a cab in a busy city you are close to any danger. Cab drivers picks passengers out in the street and they don't know who these people are. It's part of their job as a driver to just pick up whoever waves a hand at every corner of the street. The more passengers they picked up the better money they earn. It has card swipe in case passenger choose to pay cards instead of cash. Then the drive also put a glass wall in the driver seat. That protects the cab driver from getting rob.
