Why We Leak Our Faucet On Winter

We leak our faucet on winter especially if the temperature drop down to below 20 degrees. It happened many times last year that we experienced frozen pipe. So, to avoid such problem we have to leak our faucet and let the water splash in our stainless steel sink. I wanted to save the water whenever we leak the faucet during day time so I could use it for my plants or wash dirty dishes. But our sink won't able to hold water anymore because the cover was loose. I checked the Shop Sinks and Faucets online looking for affordable stainless steel sinks because we are thinking of replacing this old sink with new one when we will have remodeling project soon. Anyhow, we get big water bills on the mail but it's alright. We just don't want to go through the hassles of unfreezing the water pipe all day or spend money to hire someone do fix it.
