Ironic But a Reality
The course Nursing has become the most popular choice when it comes to deciding on what college course to take back in my home country. Just recently, about 35,000 plus nurses have passed the licensure examinations. Almost every school in every town or province offer Nursing courses. No wonder, there are so many nurses in uniform back home. These students or their schools have probably mandated them to check out http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Men/ and have checked out the latest scrubs and uniforms for their use.
I’ve been told that most of them, after classes would roam around the malls, if there are no schedules for duties in the hospital. With the overshoot of nurses, I still wonder why there are still areas and places that lack medical attention and there are still epidemics that often occur and place health risks and threats to so many people, especially those in the depressed areas. I guess there is now a need to regulate the number of schools offering the Nursing degree as some of these nursing graduates do not end up being nurses and often find themselves working in another field. I just hope that the proper government agencies will do something about this. It is really heartbreaking to see people suffering while others who can help them are not given the opportunity to do so.
