On the Road in Rainy Days with Bad Wiper

Husband drives a 13 year old Mercury Sable and despite of age and dent, the car still works fine. But we won't take chance with this car to drive long distance like Chicago and beyond. So, when we visited the Windy City during the Thanksgiving Holiday, we used the MIL car. It was the same car also we usd 2 years ago.

It was raining non-stop during that drive and the husband complained about the wiper. I think the MIL had that wiper fixed, but the one who fixed it did not do any good job. There was a small triangular area in the front window right straight in the driver's seat that the wiper was not wiping. Good thing Joe and his mom are both good driver that despite of the rain and watery glass window, they still manage to drive smoothly and brought us safely to our destination. On our way back, we never experienced the same problem because it wasn't raining.
