A place to buy, rent and sell your textbooks

What did you do with your college textbooks after you graduated college? Well, there is a place online where you can sell your college textbook and make some money out of this. But, if you are still in college right now well then browse online to look for a place to check out some books or perhaps buy college textbooks. I don't have much books back in college because I prefer to borrow books from my classmate and had it photo copied so I can save. But I buy books if it is very important and useful. I think I gave away some of my books and I have couple of nice book that I keep. It's in our house. However, my husband is a professor. Aside from the book he had during college and graduate school, he also have lots of book that he got it from work. Every semester if he handles class that he never had before, they will be given a copy of the book edition that they will used in their class. He had like four boxes of books that I never displayed in the book shelves. He doesn't want to sell his books because he thought it's old and dusty, no one will buy for it.

Nevertheless, here in America each students are required to buy books that their teacher asked them to. Once they graduate college they will sell their book online and offline. You can see it on ebay, or Craig list. There is a website online that has been selling cheap textbooks since 2002. They specialized in the college textbook market and provides students all over the country with a place to buy cheap textbooks, rent textbooks, and sell textbooks back when the semester is over. So, check it out now and get rid of that hard bound book in your shelves. Turn your books into cash now!

Rita's Time and Lego

We all complained about how unpredictable the spring weather. There were times it was springy but there were also times that feels like autumn or winter because it's cold. Then some hail stones rain occasionally and snow flurries in other states. Right now we even think that there is no spring any more, we just go straight to summer.

good thing those week that we got great weather we able to stopped by at Ritas, as our favorite Italian Ice place. Although, we never stayed long because raid had started pouring down.

On the way to Ritas this little man had spotter a Lego store. He likes Lego and he asked us to get him one but we told him to find money to buy. I also told him to just come back to that place on the way home, but in his head he already expected to buy one of this display. Indeed on our way back he stopped by at the place and even sat on the side walk begging us to buy him Lego. The cash machine did not buy him so we had to force him and carried him as he did not want to leave the place and rain had pouring down already.

Just because it's winter doesn't mean you have to hide your fashion with those thick winter coat. You should check out their shoes, and sure thing you can find everything you need that speak comfort and fashion. Heinz Field and NFL Tickets

Are you a sports fanatics? Well, if you are then you would probably will gamble everything just to get NFL Tickets to your favorite NFL team. Imagine how many sports fanatics aiming to buy ticket to Steelers game and dreaming to have a great view in the front seat. Below is a picture of Heinz Field, a home to the Pittsburgh Steelers. I've seen it from a far every time we passed by the area. It's always full of people every time the game is held in this stadium. I heard that it's hard to buy tickets to Steelers game or any other NFL games. It's already sold out 10 or 20 years ago.

Meanwhile, I'm into postcrossing now and I found this nice postcard of Heinz Field. This is how the stadium looks like during the Steelers game. Doesn't it look so over crowded which made me believed that tickets to this sort of game is absolutely sold out.

But don't lost hope. I have found a place where you can find NFL tickets. SeatGeek is a ticket search engine that enables fans like you to quickly and easily find the best price for sports and concert events on the secondary ticket market. If you are a fan of Baltimore Ravens, or you want to buy tickets to the Cincinnati Bengals team, Cleveland Browns, or even Pittsburgh Steelers game and more, then try search it at Seat Geek. SeatGeek have aggregate the web’s sports (MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA), concert, and theater ticket listings into a single place and overlay those tickets on interactive seating charts. Trampoline for two hyper active Toddlers

My kids are growing so very fast and as they grow they become more active every day. The sad thing is they don't get out of the house frequently. We take them to the playground every time we get great weather. Anyway, now that they're getting bigger and wiser, they also start getting bored with a lot of things. They don't stay in the slide too long, my son doesn't like swing but my daughter does. They're tired climbing and running around as they do that activity everyday. One thing I want to buy for them is a trampoline. The 10ft trampoline is still too big for them, so maybe I will just look for junior trampoline. This is just a plan as we still have get everything settled down to our new place. I found a good place that has great selection of trampoline. Maybe you would want to check out Fun4kids.com just in case you are looking for a safe, sturdy trampoline for your little rascals to have a whole lot of energetic fun. So, what are you waiting for?

MYM - Dandelion and Parachute

There is always gonna be a Dandelion growing everywhere. This flower survive whatever kinds of weather you throws at it. I think only winter you don't see any of this yellow flower because of the snow that covers the ground and grasses. Once spring time kicks in they also started blooming and when summer time comes they dried up.

If you blows this dried dandelion you will see a parachute.

Downtown, Trail and Signs

Last week we had couple of days with awesome weather condition. We took the kids to the bigger playground in Schenley park and for the first time went to the pool area of the park. The lil man was amuse with the echo he heard when he scream. On the way to the pool was a little tunnel and above that tunnel was a bridge going downtown. This is the bridge going downtown. There are some college students who prefers to walk going to the bus stop or to the school and they take the side walk of this bridge. I noticed the vandals in the wall of that bridge.

My son didn't want to go for a walk in the trail so make up some story to lure him to go for a walk. I told him to look for snake but while walking he keep asking "where the snake mama" and tried to run in that grassy and thorny meadow. So, I told him that the snakes are taking a nap and he buy it LOL.

The kids wanted to go and walk farther in the trail but Joe's feet was hurting. On the way back Jake wanted to go inside to see the pool but the sign says, " No Trespassing" and look at how much the fine is and number of days in jail. It's ridiculous but that's the law. The law is what makes this country successful. Anyway, the mind of a three year old boy don't want to listen any reason why he cannot go inside. He started to show stubbornness so I told him about the sign and added his name to it. I told him that Jake is not allowed and the cop will catch him if he goes in there. So he believed me and start noticing all the signs that surrounds this barbwire.

The last picture is the UPMC building in downtown and I took this picture in the park. The building is also visible from the attic of our house.

Kitchen Sink for a New House

What kind of kitchen sink would you prefer? Well, perhaps some of you prefer to have Stainless Steel Kitchen Sinks while other prefers the bronze or aluminum. My husband and I like the Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink better than any other kitchen sink there is. I think it's economical, durable and affordable. We will be moving to a new house soon, hopefully as i can't wait to be in a new home. Anyway, for now we haven't included in the plan yet to replace the kitchen sink that house but we will in the future. There are other expenses that need to prioritize. But we are not bothered about it as we know where to buy a good brand kitchen sinks. If some of you is planning on remodeling your kitchen sink and looking for sinks or faucet, consider checking out Shop Sinks and Faucets.

Sister in Kuwait

Couple of years ago one of my younger sister decided to apply for a job abroad. People back home opted to find a job outside the country because of the lack of opportunity for local jobs they can get. They resort to leave their family and take chances abroad for greener pasture. My sister was one of the many fresh graduate who cannot find a good job in our place so she decided to go to Dubai. She got lucky to get a visa and flew to Dubai as Tourist and fortunately found a job after a month. But then life was very cruel because instead of finishing her contract, she was sent home due to medical problems that she got from the place. After couple of months working in Dubai, the company asked them for medical and unfortunately my sister was one of the random patient got infected with some virus found in the place so she was sent home.

Moreover, our youngest sister was brave enough to apply for a job abroad for the same reason that she could not find a job in the city. She flew to Kuwait last week to work as a crew in one of the American company base in Kuwait. I am really praying all night that she will be alright all the time and won't experience the same unfortunate situation like my other sister. There are job opportunity that you can find online but it requires good credentials, skills, great personality and more to get qualified for the job. If you are that person then visit the link for details and information.

Abacus vs. Technology

Would you believe that abacus still existed and use in some retail store? Yes it does. I first heard the word abacus from Chinese and saw one when I was in grade school as educational materials or tools use in counting. I've seen one also used by Chinese store so I know this system of calculation still existed. Not all business person have adopted the modern technology in computing money and counting I supposed. What is latest today is the use of barcode scanner to make the job faster and accurate. But there are still small stores specially in Asia are using the old ways of computing. They sell goods but they don't use the special codes in the product instead they manually put price on their product. If you own a store what would you prefer to use in scanning the price of each product item?

Autumn and Dora

Content by Faustino Fuentes

I finally decided on my favorite Dora the Explorer show. We watched it on our cable television. It has got to be the one where she is saving the young prince. He is so cute! The way he and Dora interact gives a great example of how kids should behave with one another. The positive role modeling of manners and helpfulness are needed in today's world.

I think the characters on this show teach diversity and the importance of tolerance for people who are not like you. Regardless of size, color, shape or language, Dora is friends with them all.

My daughter and I learned the words for “Help me” in Spanish. She runs around the house saying it all the time. Autumn loves the way Dora gets to go on great adventures, especially when Dora is wearing pretty princess dresses. Autumn gets all dressed up in her pretty dress and pretends she is really there with Dora. It is so cute to watch. Autumn has learned so much Spanish from watching the show. She already knows all her colors and numbers. Makes a momma proud!

Quality Ride

What are the first thing you look into when you buy a car? Most consumer is looking for quality ride that fits to their budget. They look into the price warranty, consumer report rating or review and more. The brand and make of the car is also important as well as the mileage especially right now that the price of gas is increasing. There are lots of important things a car buyer wants to know before they decide to buy the car. Thus, the website http://www.wpbhyundai.com could be a good place to check for car you might find interesting. You can visit the website and see what they have in store for you.

However, if you live right around Florida area, Delray, Wellington, Coconut Creek and Boynton Beach you might consider checking out West Palm Beach Florida Hyndai dealership inventory of used trucks, cars and SUVs. You can also find new or used Hyundai in West Palm Beach that is guarantee in good quality and working condition. Perhaps they also offer services for oil changes and sells car parts. I have a friend in Florida and she had a car wreck couple of years ago. Good thing she found great deal of used cars in their area so she opted to buy one. Buying new car is always good but if you do not have a budget for it, then a used car is a good solution.

Newest addiction

I admit, I’m spending more time online now than before because I’m an addict. Well, addicted to playing games online that is.

Lately, I’ve been trying to play my hardest at a strategy game on Facebook and I’m finding it so much fun. Of course I only do this when I’ve tended for my kids, when they’re taking their nap or when they’re asleep and I have to wait for my husband to come home.

I am amazed at how these skill games get so addicting. It’s feels like you’re really building your own “ville”, your own community and family. As of now, I’m trying to just play it and not invest money on it by buying stuff. I’m happy as it is requesting from my friends who are also avid players.

I know there are a lot of other games, especially in social networking sites that are addicting but maybe I’ll check them out when I know I’ve conquered this game already. I know this game may be never-ending but I’m sure there will come a time when I’ll say it’s enough because it’s not my primary purpose for going online. For now, I’ll just enjoy it as it goes because I still find fun in it, and because I play it with friends.

Teaching Summer Class

The spring semester just ended last week. Husband was on break for one week and now he is back to work again. He is teaching some calculus (I don't know exactly what subject) this summer. He supposed to have two summer classes running this year but unfortunately it causes problems with other people so he gave up one of the class. Anyway, today is the first day of summer class and I'm back again combating my two super active toddlers and getting up early. Although the class time schedule only takes 3 to 4 hours so he will be home early.

Teaching Math is something my husband is good at, which is totally opposite with me because I don't like Math at all. With him having so much knowledge about math would help my kids to be good in math as well. In two years time my son will start school and as much as possible we prepare him to be ready for it. It's never early to prepare our kids education that would help them in the future. It also never too early to prepare them to SAT which is very important. I found a website online that showed up in the search engine when I was surfing for pre-school activity. It is called StudyPoint that offers SAT Tutoring to help prepare your kids to SAT and they do it in different ways. I know my kids is way to far from it but providing them some points as early preparations is not bad at all.

Grand family vacation

One of these days, when both my kids are a wee bit older, I’d love to take them to Arizona. I personally haven’t seen the Grand Canyon and I know seeing and experiencing it with them will be such a thrill. My sister actually just moved back to Arizona, and she was inviting me to spend a week or two this summer. But my problem is, my husband is teaching this summer and it's hard to travel with two active toddlers by myself.

Anyway, aside from the Grand Canyon, I have also heard that Arizona is also famous for its Desert Landscape. Not only is the view exhilarating during the day, but the starry nights amidst the mountains also provide a breath-taking experience. As early as now, I’ve searched online for Az home rentals. I want to get an idea of how much we have to save up for when we decide to take a vacation there.

From Arizona, we can continue or family getaway to visit other states too before coming back home. We can head over to New Mexico. Maybe we can even time it to coincide with the Hot Air Balloon festival. I’m sure my kids will love it. Another destination could be Las Vegas. Nope, we’re not going to the strip to gamble with kids in tow, but I could show them the lights! I know they’ll find most of it interesting and I will enjoy the shopping.

I can’t wait to plan our itinerary for this dream family getaway. I just hope we can save enough for it for us to have a really, really great time.

Carpet and Car Cleaning

One thing makes my cleaning difficult aside from the fact that my vacuum is not doing a good job is, my kids following the vacuum around. They are fascinated with the lights and sound from it. They want to help cleaning the carpet but the more it makes my job harder. We also need this carpet cleaned before we moved out. So many stains and tough dirt sticks in the fiber.

Next week I’m going to look at scheduling an appointment for our house carpet and rugs. They need thorough washing and disinfecting, thanks to my 2 little dragons. I wanted this type of cleaning because I wanted to make sure it’s safe for them when they play on the carpets or even roll on them. Oh well, the anxieties of being a mom.

But then I realized, since they also do cleaning for cars and trucks, based on their site at http://www.thesteamteam.com, I can also include that in my request. For any truck mount carpet cleaning austin is lucky to have the services of The Steam Team. I love the idea of everything getting cleaned at the same time. I can enjoy the knowledge that not only is my house clean (carpets and rugs) but also our car. Since we always use our car when we bond together, it’s great to know that my kids are also safe and clean when they’re in the car.

Sign: SOLD

This is the street of the place to the house that we bought. Base on some paper stuff everything is doing okay but we do not want to confirm it until we have it on the closing. The owner of the house really want to sell the house and we are lucky I guess to have found this house. I love the street because it is not too steep and hills. And it's closer to the park. The sign says SOLD.

Computer Desktop Covers

I've been using this desktop computer for almost half year now but every every morning when i open it I always notice lots of dust. Some of the dust stuck in between the keyboard which make this computer look old. This computer is for my personal use only and for my online transaction, it's not a business desktops because i don't really consider my online activity as business. Anyway, in order to keep its new look, I decided to order for a desktop covers from my online friend. I am excited for the covers though and I can't wait to dress up this baby. My husband and I have separate computer. Hubby uses the laptop that I bought online and I am using the desktop.

Bicycling

Bicycling is one of family's activity and exercise that we do every summer. We like to go to Franklin trail for a bike ride whenever the weather is fine. The trail was quite big but they won't allow ATV on the paved area. However, there is part of the trail which is intended for ATV only because of the rough road. There is also a bike shop in this area (bike trail) that sells not only bikes and bike accessories but as well as ATV Accessories. In fact it was the place where we bought my husband's bicycle last summer. It is still spring but soon enough it will be summer and i look forward for more bike riding. My MIL gave us a new edition of a bike trail book which she ordered online.

Dream Getaway

I dream of going to a lot of places if only it weren't so expensive. Most times I browse through my friends' photos to see where they've been and what they've discovered. Sometimes I just do a search on google and read on what's interesting about a certain place or what we can do as a family there. I have even done a search on all possible holiday lettings in all the places we plan to go to.

Greece is at the top of my list because of it's very interesting culture, not to mention great food. I have already started my search on which Greece villas to rent out in case we do get a chance to visit this beautiful place. Some reviews even state that the owners are so friendly that a lot of visitors extend their stay just purely because of their hospitality.

Other places on our list is Rome, Paris (with some shopping on the side of course), Australia and Morocco. I wish we had already saved up for a trip to Rome to witness the beatification of the last Pope. But alas, that is not the case, but I'm very much comfortable just watching from the news for now. Paris is a destination I would love to go to with my children, but I need to make sure we have lots of pocket money. Paris is known as the fashion capital of the world so who could resist shopping.

Australia and Morocco are in our list for no specific reason. I guess it's just because a lot of my friends say about those place. I'm sure though that my children will love Australia, especially the kangaroos since they know kangaroos and koala bears can be found in Australia. As for Morocco, well, it just all started with food. Watching people cook and eat Moroccan food left us all wanting for more, to the point that we just feel we have to be there to personally experience how they cook and eat such great food.

I'm sure as my children grow, more will add to our list. Also, because we visit my relatives every year or so in the Philippines, I will be sure to add more destinations in Asia so we can make it more economical and do 2 trips at once. For one, my family will love that idea because then we get to buy souvenirs from the places we've been to for the families back home.
