Traveling with Toddlers, With United

It's not our first time to travel with our two toddlers. But it's our first time to travel more than 5 hours on the plane with toddlers plus with stop over. Our first time also to travel with United Air Lines. However, there's always a first on everything and travel is my passion. Traveling is exciting, but also dishes out anxiety. In the back of your mind, you hope the air traffic controllers had great training, and that the homeland security are up-to-date with their degree online. You try not to think about it, but it is always there.

Well, I don't know if we were curse because on our flight to Las Vegas we left the house 5 hours early only to find out that our flight was canceled. We did not get any email of some sort. There was one girl who supposed to gave us accurate information but instead she let us wait for over 15 minutes in the corner with two restless toddlers.

One ticket booth opened up and told us that our supposed to be 6:00 o clock flight was already left an hour ago. So, the information was messed up. Anyway, to make the story short we got the ticket with stop over to Denver instead of Chicago.

Alright, we got on the plane right away but when we were almost in Denver a big storm started coming down. The runway also was sort of busy that took our plane to land late. So many delayed flights going on that really pissed us off. That was the worst plane ride ever.

So, the girl who sat in there and started messing with the seat belt as if she had ticket. Well, the one hour flight to Las Vegas was alright. These two little ones were quiet and sleeping through the whole flight.

This was our plane that will take us to LAs Vegas from Denver airport.

We arrived in Las Vegas around 11;00 in the evening. Las Vegas is three hours behind time difference from Pittsburgh.

There are different types and forms of advertising. There is radio advertising, online advertising, commercials on TV or advertisement and there is also advertising flags. In automotive store you can see flag of the auto brands or on sale. This is how they advertise their product. Sometimes, you can see flag up on the air tied up to a helicopter. It's one way to get people's attention as possible client. if you are one of the many business minded person who never stop looking for ways to promote your product brand and sale then try this type of advertising. Visit Vista Flags.com for they have wide selection of advertising flags and banners. Other form of advertising is through on TV advertisement. But I am not sure how much this strategy cost. Some company go with online advertising especially those who have online business. Looking for the Train Condutor

Who do you think was the train conductor?

Well, the train is coming and looks like the conductor is missing.

It arrived in the station and here's the newly hired train conductor of the cho cho train.

He actually loved his position through when the train captain handed over to him the conductor hat. He wanted to be in the train all the time and did not care that his Dada and sister were in the car waiting for us. We thought we wanted them (Ev and Jake) to experienced riding the train since they both huge fans of Thomas and Friends.

After the rounds, the train stopped in the village for the kids to watch the show. As it turned out they're not interested to listen to this cowboy talking about guns and stuff but they're force to sit there and indulge the heat while listening to the boring show. After the long talk, the cowboy presented some demonstration about firing the guns for kids to be aware that guns are not toys.

Like I said these two are only interested in riding the train rather than sitting there to listen. we walked out and headed back to our train ride going back to the place where we parked the car.

Welcome to the Bonnie Spring. If you happen to visit Las Vegas you should drive going to Red Rock Canyon and stopped by at this place to ride a train and perhaps pet some animal in the Petting Zoo. Watch out with wild Donkey by the way.

How to handle family holidays

The school holidays have arrived and it’s time for many of us to start packing the whole family off on that long-awaited summer holiday. But family breaks don’t always go as smoothly as imagined. The strains of travelling, hot weather and general family disputes can make these trips almost as stressful as work! However, there are a number of tricks to keep tension to a minimum. Here are a few things that should keep everyone peaceful and happy for the duration, ensuring a more pleasant holiday is had by you all…

Indulge yourselves

At home you get used to denying your kids the things they ask for – chocolate, electrical gadgets and anything else you might deem either damaging or too expensive. On holiday it’s time to loosen the purse strings and for once indulge and spoil them. Reward them for their year’s achievements that you may have overlooked before now – getting so far in the local tennis tournament, for example, or showing strong potential in their school’s psychometric test. Meeting everyone’s demands, being less strict and generally indulging yourselves will make the trip much more special, memorable and free from arguments.

Give each other space

If you all have busy working lives, this holiday will be the longest, most intense period of time you’ll have spent together as a family for a while. For this reason you’re bound to get on each other’s nerves at some point. To reduce the risk of this, share the time looking after the kids with your partner so that you both get some time on your own. Also, arrange days where you split into two groups. Space and relaxation are vitally important for keeping a peaceful holiday household.

Be flexible

If you have already thought of a lot of things to do on your holiday and made a detailed day-by-day plan, this won’t make you very popular. Holidays are about doing what you feel like, when you feel like it and without feeling pressured into anything. If you have certain things you want to fit in, just make them flexible and don’t force anyone to go with you when they don’t want to.

Encourage physical activity

Try to do as many activities as you can – water sports, walks and so on – whatever you can fit in (still observe the rule that you don’t want to force anyone to do anything, though). This will not only be a great bonding exercise, but will put you all in a fantastic mood – as only the satisfaction of deserved exhaustion can. Plus, this will mean the kids are so knackered they’ll happily go off for an early night, leaving you and your partner a bit of well-earned alone time. If you’re lucky, you’ll enjoy the most romantic nights you’ve had together since you met – whether that was through friends or on free online dating sites in UK cities.

Bring distractions

Be prepared for the deadly enemy of every family: boredom. This can strike at any point – on the plane, on the beach, in the evenings – and can lead to a lot of tension. So pack the cards, board games, books, DVDs and colouring pencils – pack everything it takes. Audiobooks are particularly good for long car journeys and will keep you all entertained.
Wherever you’re jetting off to this summer, make sure you leave tension and squabbles back home!

Watch your health

In the past, Davao City had been the only city in the Philippines to ban smoking in public areas. As in, aside from cops citizens can also make arrests and the fines are steep that smokers learn to “keep their smoke” like waiting until they reach designated smoking areas before the light up their stick. That is discipline.

Smokers say that they cannot control their urges when in fact they can. But if you really could not live with huffing and puffing smoke in the air, at least try to reduce the effects of smoking on your health as well as those of the people around you, especially your families that are taking the brunt of second hand smoke. If you love them, you will resort to electronic cigarettes. If you want to know about e-cigs then read more information.

These high tech cigarettes will give you the satisfaction of having nicotine but it does not have tar. And I believe that you will not be adding to the heaps of cigarette butts that are clogging drainage.

There are actually many brands of electronic cigarette nowadays and you can even choose the aroma of your nicotine. You can read more about electronic cigarettes in the site that reviews all the brands.

While it is best that you avoid smoking all throughout, if you cannot do it all, there is a questionably “healthier” choice for you. But if you can stop, then it is much better because at least you save so much on your monthly budget. You can spend the money in something more useful.

My excellent kosher strawberry smoothie

Guest post written by Patty Sommers

Keeping kosher isn't that easy for someone like me who craves all kinds of different food. I'll also freely admit that I've not always been kosher. But it's something that I like to do now and I'm putting a lot of effort into doing that too. Luckily, I live in an area that has a variety of kosher food, so I guess that it could be much hardest for me, especially because I don't really cook. But I love to make desserts and snacks and things like that on my own though. So I do that pretty often.

Sometimes it can be tough to find kosher snacks though, so I use the internet to find a lot of them. I was looking up some recipes a few weeks ago and while I was doing that I saw the website http://Clearwirelessinternet.net. I looked through it some and after that I decided to change over my apartment's internet service to it.

I found this one recipe for a kosher strawberry smoothie that I had to try out immediately. It really was so delicious that I kept it and I just might have to make it some during the winter too!

Playground and Parks

Back in my country, I've seen few people in the beach using some kind of detector to look for coin and find metal. Here in the US I have seen few people in the park and playground with metal detector in their hand. It's kind of amusing thought watching those people looking for metal, or coin in the ground.

Anyway, speaking of parks and playground, well the kids been asking me since we arrived yesterday to go to the park and playground. They miss spending time in the park especially in the playground. There was a nice playground near the house of my sister and we went there the night of our first day vacation last week. Every time we're in the car the little Miss always said playground and thought we'll be going to the playground. I was gonna bring them today to the playground but my body was still in pain from the trip back home.

Las Vegas and Jollibee

Going to Jollibee.

That was the first thing we did the moment we arrived in Vegas. I so miss this Filipino food chain that I ordered a bunch of food and ate them all at once. I wanted to go back there but driving to that area as kind of far from where they live. There is also a Chowking, Red Ribbon and Goldilocks around the area. In fact most of the customer in this food chain are mostly Filipino. The place is like Philippines because of the crowds.

Effective Treatment

I have shared n my blog post before when I had allergy. That was summer of 2009 I believed when I was still pregnant with my second child. The problem with being pregnant is you do now know exactly the cause or symtoms of you condition because you have to be careful with all the test. Aside from that, you can just jump into conclusion that it could be for the hormones, or maybe the weather change. Anyway, we consulted my doctor the first time and gave me nothing but and observation if it the allergy will be there after couple days. That doctor office is different with the allergy treatment austin that really specializes in allergy and skin condition. The next appointment, I switch to a different doctor and he prescribed me with medicine that won't affect the baby. It also helped my allergy and it never comes back up until now. It was not a worst allergy but it usually comes out when the weather is hot and dusty. So, if you have problem with skin and allergy then click the link provided and ask of evaluation.

Summer Activity

I know i have gain weight this past couple of weeks. Well, with all the food in 4th of July, and the vacation we have right now I'm pretty sure I'll be needing lots of exercise. The walks that we did is not enough exercise to get rid of the extra pounds I gain and probably can't measure with the effect if I try to use apidexin or other diet pills. I have read the reviews and it is considered one of the top rated diet pills in the market today. The thing is, when we get older we also have less time to do exercise as we get tired easily. I'm already in my mid thirties but my body can't handle too much activity at once. I have planned before the trip to do lots of summer activity to enjoy the vacation but with two kids around and the heat if the sun, my husband and I get exhausted right away. So, far this is the kind of exercise I have been doing because I ain't no time to go to the gym and hesitant to take some pills. How about you, what summer activity you and your family are doing this summer?

Beautiful Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is one of old city in the state of Pennsylvania . Pennsylvania was one of the original 13 states in America. Pittsburgh is the home of the popular football team Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates. In fact, the PNC Park was full packed with crowds watching the game today on the 4th of July.

The PNC Park and Heinz Field are the two museum or field for sports activity. It is considered the beautiful land mark that people wants to see. I thought I'd only get the chance to see these field on the picture. I may not be inside the field but at least I got the chance to see it from a far.

We went to Downtown Pittsburgh today to celebrate the America's independence day and hopefully see fireworks of 4th of July. For the first time, I set foot on the famous Point State Park or Golden triangle and saw these tall business buildings. We had wonderful day today and even if we haven't got the chance to witness the fireworks, we still had a blast. Happy 4th of July America! God Bless!

Washer Repair Miami

The following tips were published on a Washer Repair Miami site.

Most of the washer problems happen on the inside where most of the components are located; another location is at the back of the washer too where the rest of the components are situated. For you to start working on your broken washer, you will need an immediate access to the inside and the backside. It may appear a tough one for you, but opening up the washer is quite easy if you are a pro in finding all the holding screws and bolts for the washer. And besides you could be the DIY guy who is successful with opening up stuff like microwaves and your dishwasher. So the washer wouldn’t pose any bigger challenge.

So once you are inside the washer a possible problem you can get there is a damaged belt to spin or agitate the clothe basket. If the belt is weak, you will notice weak rotation on the clothe basket or a failure to rotate all together. This calls for a complete replacement of the belt to bring the machine to an ample rotating mode. Another likely problem could be that the pulley system for running the belt could be seized. This will happen when foreign materials will find their way into the pullets and jam them up. You will need to unblock the pulleys manually to get them to rotate again.
