A Trip to Red Rock Canyon and The Convenience of a Car

They seems had enjoyed their sumptuous lunch at the comfort of the car trunk. We drove 45 minutes to Red Rock Canyon with empty stomach as we were all excited to see the place. We stopped by at the Mexican restaurant to take out some foods to eat during the trip. There's the kids did not mind the heat and just enjoying their foods. We were supposed to rent a car or van but it was a bit expensive renting a car in Las Vegas. Good thing my BIL decided not to take the car to work instead he asked his wife to dropped him off to the airport. Camera Critters | Goat and Sheep

I'm using a different pc and most of my pictures are in my other computer. Good thing I uploaded new photos on my facebook account using my husband's laptop, and here is my entry for this week camera critters

My daughter was so fascinated and enjoyed playing with the sheep and goat we saw at the pumpkin field when we went pumpkin patching. One goat almost kissed her because she put her face close to this critters. She wanted to picked up some stuff on the ground and feed to the goats and sheep. Other kids were using the corn they picked at the corn field to feed to the animals.

Gadget Shopping

It was a total waste when we bought our old computer and other gadget such as headphones and webcam because we never used it. It was a mistake buying cheap headphones though because they don't work too good. If ever you're thinking of getting a headphone, try the AH-C710 headphones to make sure that it works superb. Anyway, that headphone and webcam we bought were worthless. The webcam don't have a stand so every time we used it we have to hold it. Don't ask about the headphone because it was really a total waste. We never used it and husband don't want to returned it because he just don't want to. There are different use of headphone and sometimes when you buy a cell phone, headphone usually included in the box. However, there is circumstances that some of the gadget that included in the box don't work really well. When my BIL bought his Blackberry cellphone, he also bought a new headphone, battery and case. After couple of years using the Blackberry he switch to iphone and gave the old gadget to me. Nevertheless, I am planning to buy a new gadget though and upgrade this blackberry to the latest unit.

Take My Advice Please!

As a university professor of mathematics, I know the value of a good education. Most parents know this as well. Why else would parents across this nation spend thousands of dollars every year to send their children to college? Here is the thing though. You have to start pushing the idea of education on your kids as early as you can. Make sure that you read to them from the day they are born, and as soon as they can read, make them read every day. They will not understand the importance of it, and they will probably be mad at you for making them do it, but there will come a day when they will thank you for it. Also, be responsible for their behavior in school. Don't put that on the school system. They can only do so much. It is up to the parents to make sure that their kids don't act like animals at school. I'll say that again. It is the parent's responsibility to make sure that their kids behave at school!. Holiday shopping

In some countries, the celebration of the holidays is a bit early. As early as September or October, Christmas carols would be heard in streets, malls and houses. I guess there are some advantages to that. For one, you would avoid the Christmas rush and panic buying. Cramming in shopping could be very common, and I do that a lot. Have I made my Christmas shopping? I haven’t yet, but I should make that list soon. Gifts for the family members come first, of course. The kids would be happy with toys so it’s not much of a challenge getting gifts for them. I wonder what to give hubby, though. I should look into guys clothing and see if I could find some good deals. But first, let me make that list. Having a Christmas list sure is helpful. Still studying and trying to take good pictures using my Nikon D3100 and this ugly Stink bug would be a good subject. But it came out not really nice. I guess I will keep trying....

Meanwhile, the stink bugs have invaded the playground near our place. We went there last Thursday and the place was full of stink bugs and stunk too because of the dead stink bugs. They don't bite but they're nasty because they're everywhere and sometimes landed on your back, hair and everywhere. There's a lot of this stink bug in Pennsylvania and they come out during this time of the year.

Parrot

During our last vacation in Las Vegas we went to Bellagio just to take pictures. Well, the place was crowded with visitors and tourist in the area. Im sure they're not staying in that hotel but they were there to take pictures too.

They have different decoration last summer and also put up a small space of bird sanctuary with variety of bird species. This colorful fella was one of the lovely birds I saw in that bird cage.
