Benefits of Joining the School Band

I was a member in a drum and bugle corps back in high school. I played the lyre instrument. My main reason for joining the band school band was to get away from ROTC.
Joining the school band is a great way for your child to develop his talent in playing musical instruments. He can also learn various skills such as reading notes and music and playing other musical instruments included in the band instruments list. He may also develop interest in composing songs or making musical arrangements. The school band also provides an opportunity for him to socialize with kids his age who are also interested in music. His social circle will no longer be limited to students in his class but he also gets to meet other students from other grade levels.
