Destination I Dos — Plan Your Vegas Wedding

Destination weddings are all the rage right now because you can make your wedding more memorable for guests and get married in an exotic location. Las Vegas is a popular destination wedding location because of the great weather, fun atmosphere, and wacky wedding venues. So, if you want to get married in Vegas with all of your close friends and family in attendance, take a look at these tips for planning your wedding.

Decide on a Wedding Theme and Find the Perfect Venue

Every good Vegas wedding has a theme. However, it’s easy to choose a wedding theme in Vegas because each hotel has its own theme. For instance, you can have a royal and romantic wedding at the Eiffel Tower, a gondola wedding at the Venetian, or even a pirate themed wedding at Treasure Island. Of course, there are several themed chapels you can use in Vegas, too, such as the Eternal Hope Ministry, the Gay Chapel, and the Silver Bell Wedding Chapel. Once you decide on a theme and a venue for your big day, it will make planning the rest of your wedding easier.

Depending on your budget and the size of your guest list, you can pay for everyone to stay at the same hotel. This is particularly convenient if the hotel is where you are getting married. Of course, if you don’t have room for this in your budget, you can make suggestions on where the guests should stay on your wedding invitation. Las Vegas is all about the hotels, so all of your guests should be able to stay in the same general area, at least.

Take Care of the Hair, Makeup, and Dress

If you’re planning a Vegas wedding, you might as well get your dress in the area, especially if you’re getting married on the spur of the moment. There are several boutiques that will even rent you a gown, which means you can save a little bit of money. Weddings are so common in Vegas that you can get pretty much any style dress you want and look like a princess with ease. However, sleeveless dresses are the most common in Vegas because of the warm weather. Plus, with all the salons in the area, it’s easy to find someone to do your hair and makeup, too.

One great thing about destination weddings is that there is no travel time for the honeymoon because you’re already away from home. You can simply send all of your guests home and have a great time with your new spouse in Vegas. There are lots of fun things in Vegas to do on your honeymoon, such as seeing a show, dancing at a club, getting a massage, watching a Vegas show, or simply walking the strip — the choice is up to you.

A Vegas wedding is different from everywhere else because of the atmosphere in the city. There are so many things to do in Las Vegas. Guests can have fun at the casinos or see a show when they’re not attending your wedding festivities. This makes everyone happy and your wedding a lot more memorable.
