A friend of mine just recently celebrated her and hubby’s 8th wedding anniversary. Collecting something brings a special sense of fulfillment. The earlier you start in life, the better because then, you would appreciate the value of your collection over time. Some items could be very expensive years after, so what you have could be considered “collector’s items” and would be unbelievably expensive.

I wonder if Jake could start collecting model cars? I was browsing through military models and they so look like the real thing! I was even tempted to make a collection of those myself! I guess Jake is too young to think about having a collection but I could encourage him to at least consider the idea.

Speaking of collections, I have not done anything to my postcard collection lately. I had been too busy about household chores to sit down and write a postcard to a friend. Sometimes hobbies really require a lot of energy, don’t you think so too? I have to muster all the energy I have to gain back that momentum again.

Eating Out

Eating out in London can be very expensive, but it does not have to be. Venture away from some of the main tourist streets and you will find that prices are noticeably lower. Ask at your hotel for recommendations.

The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh is a children's museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which is located in the Allegheny Center neighborhood in Pittsburgh's Northside.

Our first time to visit the museum. Thanks to Mary for paying the registration for us. Upon entering the premises, I was stunned with their fish decoration at the parking lot area. I think it looks really cool.

I woke up this morning with the nagging feeling that there was something I needed to get done. I usually try to write to do lists because I always forget to do things while my husband is at work and then he gets annoyed. I know he works a lot of hours, and he works hard, but sometimes things just slip my mind. I knew there was something he was nagging me about, but I could not remember for the life of me what it was. Baker wannabe

I sucked at baking. I can't make it look perfect every time I tried to bake cookies or cake. If it is not burnt, it's hard as a rock. I really envy moms who are very much and great into baking. I wish I could also find time to bake with my kids and make those yummy-looking cakes! For sure the kids would have a great time.

First of all, I need to buy ingredients, those measuring cups and spoons, and also sieves. I got hand-me-downs baking utensils and other that I got from my MIL but not complete. We would need lots of recipe books, too. I wonder how our cakes would look like? For starters like us, I don’t think you could expect that much but I am sure we would get better over time.
