Burn and Shot

Jake got his swine flu shot yesterday. He came home running and dancing, so I asked my husband, who was the one took him to his appointment if he got a shot. Yes, he had a shot and he didn't even react nor cry during the shot. What a tough little guy. Plus the other day he got like a second degree burnt I think from our portable space heater. We were shock the other night when we saw his burnt skin on his right leg. He did not show any pain emotions, didn't even flinched a bit. We put an antibiotic ointment right away to the burn area. Imagine that, a burnt on the right leg and a shot on the left leg and he still dancing, running around the house. This kid is always playing with our space heater, turning it off and on. He always gets on time out for doing such. We had no idea that his leg got burnt until we saw the burn marks. I had to make a good house plans so that I could put the portable space heater in safest area of our house. No matter how careful we are in putting stuff in order, Jake always gets in trouble. Many times now, I caught him feeding Justine with stick, cookies, and toy car. He wants to play with here and love to explore everything. I think we should keep an eye on him all the time.
