TCP - For the love of family "Family Man"

It's Tuesday again couchers time for TCP hosted by mommy Kikamz. Make sure you stop by at her couch and watch all her movie collections. For The Love of Family is this week movie features and my pick would be "The Family Man" starring Nicholas Cage and Téa Leoni. It is a beautiful, drama movie that sometime we can relate to ourselves. The only different is there is no magic to bring us back to our past or future. Sometimes, we really have lots of what if's in our life and no matter how successful you become you still feel some emptiness and thinks there is something missing in your life. And that is to have a family to love and share your success.

Here is the plot summary I read and found at the IMDB site. You might want to check out to have a quick idea of what the movie is about.

Plot Summary for
The Family Man (2000) at IMDb

On Christmas Eve, two days before he pulls off a multi-billion-dollar merger, Wall Street hot-shot Jack Campbell gets a phone message from a woman he almost married 13 years before. He also tells a gun-toting street tough that he has everything he needs. The punk laughs. Christmas morning, Jack wakes up next to his old girlfriend, in some sort of parallel universe, in a 12-year marriage. Over the next few weeks, he gets a glimpse of what his life would have been like if he'd married her: a house in Jersey, two children, bowling trophies, a job at his father-in-law's tire store, and a lot of love from his wife Kate. When this Dickensian adventure ends, what will he do? Written by {jhailey@hotmail.com}

I remember this film, and I loved it! Good choice. I think it's a must-see for upwardly mobile yuppies who have no time for family as they look out for #1.
Please see mine here.

I remember this film. I remember how he made a passionate speech as he tried to reconnect with tea in the end.

Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
