BRIDLE Trail | Memorial Day Hike & Grill
Happy Memorial Day to all. A salute to our proud Americans who fought for this country's freedom and democracy.
How do you celebrate your memorial day?
Well, it's very nice outside not hot and not too cold either. Our family decided to go for a hike. We passed by a group of people gathering around this place where a list of Americans that served in military engraved and offered a prayer. Anywho, we started our 2 mile walk/hike and run at Bridle Trail south.
The day was so pleasant and calm. There were a few people doing their regular walk, hike, run and bike ride.
We passed by two old bridges that was built in W.F.A 1939, not quiet old but it's pretty much older than we are to where the water creek under that bridge dried up.
We continued our walk with a quick snap of my camera here and there then exit at the other side of the Bridle trail north and went straight to the children playground.
The kids played for like 30 minutes for they just walked a half of the 2 mile trail.
They both don't want to go home yet but we had to get them ready for another mile of walk going back to the car. As soon as babger mentioned the magic word "ice cream" they both got up and started walking/running going to the tunnel.
It was quicker on the way back because Jake and I were running and jogging. We got there first and waited for the Man and the Princess. Our day ended with satisfying meal - burger and hotdog fresh from our own grill.
How about you, how did you celebrate your Memorial Day?

That was nice that you guys had a chance to go outside during Memorial Day. Being outdoor with family is really a fun thing to do. I wish we can do the same, but unfortunately, our weather here is not cooperating. So we ended up staying at home last memorial day.
That is great that you were able to be outdoors during memorial day. I spent half of the day ironing. We had a wet weather that time too so we got lazy to go out :-)
Food and recreation is the most fun part after hiking :D I love that playground looks big and kids can play all kinds of things.

Oh wow! what a way to spend Memorial Day, bonding with the family! It's nice to breathe in some fresh air sometimes, right? And not just get stuck in the four corners of our house. Oh, and what a way to end the day, barbecue!!!
That was a fun day you've had guys! I wish we were able to spend the day outside but it was so cold here in our neck of the woods over the weekend. Actually, until now and even tomorrow. The gloomy and rainy weather always stops us from enjoying the outdoor so our Memorial Day was spent just staring at each other here at home. Lol.
Naa pay leftover sa bbq diha? Nice ng grill sugbahan ug isda, Shei! :D
