Life of A Pilot Wife

My sister is two year younger than me but she got married first. She moved here in the US back in 2003 i think then decided to go back in the Philippines and lived there for couple of years. In 2006, she decided to come back here in the US and stayed here for good. I would say she is lucky to be married to a pilot as she experienced to travel on her own from one state to another or country perhaps. Her husband is a pilot in one of the biggest airlines in the US and every quarter they received a complimentary ticket as part of their privileges. There were times when her husband had a scheduled flight in Los Angeles and asked her to meet him there. So, my sister who was at Arizona flew to another airport and then drove to LA using a one way car rental then from LA they flew to Las Vegas. I did not know how she done it but she did it with like a pro. I was impressed because she just learned how to drive that year and yet she able to drove across the state. Apparently, driving across the state was the best experience for her to boost her confidence and proved to herself that she can do it. Good thing there is a one way car rental company that she is familiar with to rent a car for one-way road trip because when she arrived in LA, she and her husband had other plans for their return trip. One way car rental may cost a little more and it is harder than we thought. However, there are state or some areas in the country where one way car rental easier to get. If you also want to know some tips on how to rent a car either one way rental or renting a car in the whole duration of your trip then look online. You can also search online for travel agent that offer great deals on car rental, flight & car and the likes.

That was nice, she must have been experienced to do such things. I couldn't imagine myself being alone driving interstate. I would need a lot of strength to do that.

She is a risk taker and that is why she can drive by herself out of state. I do not think I can do that :-( I am sure I will get lost :-) but we did try renting a van one time when we went to PA :-) It is very affordable too :-)

That is so brave of her to drive across state :-) I will get chicken if I'll drive myself that far :-) She is blessed to be able to travel too to different states on complimentary tickets :-) That is one of the blessings in her husband's line of work :-)
